The story takes place in the 1930s, and features the O'Connell family - Rick, the brave adventurer, along with famed archaeologist Evy and their son Alex - as they travel the globe in a quest to clear up ancient riddles. During a trip to Egypt however, an event occurred that would forever change their destiny. The all-powerful Manacle of Osiris accidentally locks onto Alexs wrist. The OConnell family has no choice but to set off on a search for the sacred Scrolls of Thebes, as these represent the only way of freeing the young man. However, Imhotep also lusts after these sacred texts, for having them in his possession would give him full powers. Imhotep, with his army of demons, could attain his dream of dominating the world and ruling over modern civilizations.
